As a bunch of you already know, we successfully launched the first issue of Sparkler Monthly this week, and it includes the new chapter of Tokyo Demons (the first part of Book 2: Chapter 5). Now you can go read and comment there…I hope you enjoy Tokyo Demon’s new GIRLISH AND SPARKLY home. Chapter 5 will be posted in two parts, and the second half will go up in Sparkler Issue #002 in September. I’m sorry for the strangely long gap between those updates, that’s a side effect of the Issue #001 launch being kinda a big thing. As of Issue #002, new pieces of Tokyo Demons will go up every month, minus the occasional month off if I’m dying or something, heh. But we’re trying to finish Book 2 by Christmas.

The other big news is Rebecca and I will be packing up to run a Chromatic/Sparkler table at Otakon‘s Artist Alley next weekend (Booth R11 in Artist Alley, next to the lovely plush heaven of our merchandise partner Lucky Squid Studios), and we’ll have all our usual Tokyo Demons books/posters/merch with us along with a ton of Sparkler stuff, like the new Off*Beat reprint paperbacks, merch, and Dire Hearts prints for a Christy Lijewski signing (she’ll be at our table for a few hours, whee!). It’s going to be awesome. Come join us.

It’s going to take a while for us to transfer everything on this site to sparklermonthly.com – because man, we’ve compiled a lot of bonus crap on this site over the last two years. O.O Also, I’m not ready to shut this place down yet, so although new stuff will go to Sparkler, I’ll keep you guys posted here (albeit a bit slower) to ease the transition over the next six months or so.

And White Tiger KEEPS SENDING ME FANFICS (squee!) and I now have several more parts to her Riot Girl story. I’m going to save them to post all at once on our next update, so if anyone else wants to send fanworks to be posted soon, you have until Thursday, August 15th to make the deadline for our next update on Friday, August 16th.
